本作与PSP版不同，采用3对3团队战模式，与伙伴的合作至关重要。游戏在街机版基础上新增了大量世界观和故事内容，剧情发生在PSP版本结束后很久的未来，PSP版本的故事已完结，但本作将解答神灵争斗等未解之谜。PSP版本中失去记忆的主角们在本作中将恢复原作和PSP版本的双重记忆。

本作为重视团队协作的3对3对战型动作游戏，采用BRAVE系统，玩家可与25名以上特色角色共同演绎无限策略战斗。善用「HEAVY」、「SPEED」、「SHOOT」、「UNIQUE」四种特性，带领队伍走向胜利。本作不仅支持单人畅享战斗，还新增3人协力挑战全新规则，同时收录描写众神与战士们序曲的剧情影片。
